Open Day 2017
St Louis Day Care Centre in Ramsgrange are holding their Annual Open Day on Friday 6th of October 2017 from 10am to 2pm. All are welcome to attend on the day.
We will have representatives and information on our services in St Louis Day Care Centre and also representatives and information on community based services in our area.

Fundraiser Walk 5th June 2017
Senior Citizens Concern CLG is a non-profit company which originated in 1973 and founded St Louis Day Care Centre, Ramsgrange, Co. Wexford. We provide transport for our clients to come to our Day Care Centre Monday to Friday and also provide a Meals on Wheels service Monday to Friday for those who cannot come to the Centre. Our catchment area covers South West Wexford taking in the parishes of Ramsgrange, Duncannon, Horeswood, Templeton and Tintern.
Our current mini bus has served us very well but now needs replacing. The mileage is very high on the mini bus as are the running costs due to the rural catchment area which we cover.
We urgently need to raise funds to maintain our services to our elderly clients who are unable to drive to the Centre and need our service to collect them and bring them home and to deliver Meals on Wheels to our clients.
We are holding our first 5km/10km walk/run in JFK Memorial Park & Arboretum on Monday 5th of June 2017 at 10.30am. We hope to raise these badly needed funds to help us achieve our goal.
Matthew O’Hanlon Captain of the Wexford Hurling Team is supporting us in our fundraiser and will be with us in JKF Memorial Park & Arboretum on the 5th June to start our walk/run.
We hope you can come along on the day and support us. Children under 16 are free. Please indicate when registering in “Leave a Comment” if you wish to do the 5km walk or run or the 10km walk or run. Please ensure you wear appropriate footwear on the day.

We would like to thank Helena Whelan who recently handed over half of the proceeds she raised with her friends doing the Dublin city marathon in memory of her late mother Nellie Byrne who passed away recently. Nellie attended the centre with the MS group. The donation to the centre was €1250 and the same to the MS society.
